VEG PULAO RECIPE ||वेज पुलाव||VEGETABLE PULAO IN PRESSURE COOKER -VEGETABLE PULAO –
Ingredients:
• Basmati Rice(Long Grain Rice) – 2 Cups
• Ghee / Clarified Butter – 2 tbsp
• Oil – 2 tbsp
• Water
• Pulao Masala – 1 tsp
• Salt as per taste
• Jeera / Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
• French Beans – 1 Cup
• Carrot – 1 finely chopped
• Cashewnuts – 10 to 12
• Onion – 1 finely chopped)
• Tomato – 1 (cut into small pieces)
• Cardamom – 4
• Sha Jeera – ½ tsp
• Tejpatta/Bay Leaves – 2
• Black Pepper – – 10 to 12
• Cloves – 10 to 12
• Cinnamon Sticks – 2 small
• Cauliflower – 250 gms
Method of Preparation:

• In a Cooker – add 2 tbsp Ghee / Clarified Butter. Then add 2bsp Oil.
• When Ghee and Oil become hot – we’ll add Black Pepper, Sha Jeera, Bay Leaves, Cinnamon Sticks and Cloves.
• Then add 1 tsp Jeera / Cumin Seeds. When Cumin Seeds splutters, add Onion, Saute Onion for 2 mins, then add Cashewnuts.
• Now we’ll add all other vegetable viz. French Beans, Green Peas, Carrot, Potatoes and Cauliflower. Fry till all vegetables become soft.
• We’ll now add washed Rice, then add Pulao Masala Powder. Mix well
• Add 4 glasses of water (For 1 Cup of Rice – add 2 cups of water) and Salt.
• Since we have add all vegetables, we will add 1 Cup of Water more to the Cooker. Mix well.
• Taste the water and check for Salt.
• Close the Lid of Cooker and cook for 3 whistles (first 2 whisles on high flame & 1 whistle on medium flame
• After 3 whistles , we have switched off the flame. We will serve it in a bowl
• Our Veg Pulao is ready !!!!!!!!!! Serve it with Dahi Raita.
