Ingredients –
A small piece of Lauki grated (Bottle gourd)
1 small onion finely chopped
1/2 cup Methi leaves chopped
1 tsp Salt (or as per taste)
1 tsp Green Chilli paste
1 tsp Ginger paste
1/4 tsp Haldi Powder (Turmeric Powder)
1 cup Jowar Aata (200 grams/cup)
4 tblsps Dahi (Yoghurt)
1/2 tsp Oil (to massage the dough)

  1. Dear Poonamji, lovely recipe with millet jowar. This protein packed, high fibre low fat nutritious breakfast is ideal for people of all ages. I was under the impression that pankis are cooked in either banana leaf or corn leaf, now I know better. Some more recipes with millets please and some more panki recipes please. Thanks.
