3 SOBA NOODLE Recipes 🍜Delish Noodle Series

For all recipes, pre-cook the soba noodles
Soba Noodle Salad Recipe:

1 tsp grated ginger
1 clove minced garlic
1 tbsp miso paste
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
2 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp water
Black pepper to taste

In a large salad bowl, mix
2 cooked bundles soba noodles
2 cups chopped napa cabbage
1 cup sliced snow peas
2-3 Shredded radishes
2 stalks green onions, chopped
1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Toss it up
Serve, garnish with more radish for color

Soba Noodle Yakisoba
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup soft sauce

In a wok, cooking on a gas burner
Add oil, let it get hot
1 sliced chicken breast
Season with some kosher salt
1 tbsp yakisoba sauce

Stir fry until the sauce evaporates

Add 2 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp minced ginger
Stir fry

Add 1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 Carrot thinly sliced

Continue frying

Add 2 cups chopped Napa cabbage
1 cup sliced purple cabbage
2 bundles soba
2 stalks green onions, diamond cut
Rest of yaki sauce

Stir fry until everything is well coated.
Serve, garnish with more green onions

Soba Noodle Soup:
1 bag Dash soup mix
Add 3 cups water
Boi 5 minutes, remove soup bag
Add 2 cups veggie broth
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sake mirin
1/2 block diced tofu
1/2 carrot, sliced
1/4 cup snow peas,
Green onions
Boil 5 minutes until veggies become slightly soft

Serve over soba noodles with wakame seaweed and enoke mushrooms

  2. There's hot and cold soba in NYC. whereas the hot is the noodle soup and cold is the dipping sauce. Same thing in Japan.

  3. Next time you come down to orange county to visit you have to go to Fukada in Irvine. They have my fave soba noodles soup there with the mountain root veggies. Depending on the weather you can have it hot or cold. ☺

  4. Could literally eat noodles everyday. Love soba too, it's so good for you. Thanks for these will definitely be making that yakisoba.

  5. I was always told that "yaki" described the cooking method, so that "yaki" meant the dish was being cooked over a direct heat. (Ex: yakiudon, yakitori, okonomiyaki, etc).
    So, I don't understand the "soba soba" joke??

    The food looks great, and I'm interested to try these nonetheless.
